Meatpacking District, New York

To launch Runway for Relief noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker did a full photo shoot with the 40 supermodels in the heat last Tuesday. Models such as Coco Rocha, Jessica White, Michelle Alvas, and Holman all have the similar passion for giving back as the shoes are tracked. Running around from show to show, hair, make-up, and after parties gives these models the chance to bring in big money sponsored by Jones Apparel Group Inc.

The respectable artistic director of Lanvin since 2001 Mr. Alber Elbaz confirmed the collaboration with H&M via Youtube and H&M‘s website at 8:00am (CET) September 2,2010. Lanvin has a reputable look that remains edgy and sophisticated by evolving. Bringing the concept of modern elegance, quality materials, and high definition silhouettes to a huge international brand such as H&M is allowing men and women world-wide to discover true extreme fashion-style. This move is making the  fashionable, and an industry together by releasing luxurious products the public for a taste of chic. The mystery has been wiped out, although most are not surprised after hearing Alber Elbaz’s famous quote: “I prefer being relevant to being cool, because if you’re cool, you’re also cold the next day” on the voice over promotion clips. Fashion lovers will all be attending this wedding as the Fall/Winter 2010 Lanvin for H&M collection begins November 23,2010 for 200 stores across the globe. Reiko, the Graphic Designer at the House of Patricia Field is a “stylista” in New York City. She believes that in her homelands of Japan were she studied Sculpture, that the fashion addicts in Tokyo understands the concept of styling or “putting things together well”, although everything is majorly imported.  R is wearing leopard side instep zip up wedges, pink fishnets, off the shoulder over-sized T and a cute multicolored leopard bow head wrap. From the promotion videos it has been said that Lanvin‘s visionary fashion design genius Mr. Alber Elbaz is the voice over. La mia prediletto rivista, Vogue Italia! The September 2010 issue of Vogue Italy, Steven Meisel photographs Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr, but this cover is in new technology of 3-D. Visions of femininity which Prada, Fendi, and Gucci (Italian designers) executed so well has embraced the past with a taste of future. Along with the copy of printed pages, readers receive a pair of 3D glasses to wear. I am so excited to buy my favorite International Vogue, for this is the first time in fashion magazine history to have this feature.

Exploring our raw human emotions can be difficult. How honest do we want to be with ourselves? The New York premier of the indie film Expecting Mary very much hit a cord with its viewers. Young 16-year-old Mary is eight months pregnant and has run-away from home. Coming from an affluent family, she is seen as an embarrassment. She meets the most unexpected people who change her life forever. As cliché as it may sound, the film makes the viewers really question themselves, question their own relationshipswith their families and friends and explore those emotions that are often too confronting to look at. The film makes you laugh just as much as it makes you cry. The honest emotion of the characters and the comedic brilliance of some of the finest actors in Hollywood really makes this a stand-out film.

The all-star cast includes Elliott Gould, Linda Gray, Lainie Kazan, Cloris Leachman, Della Reese, Olesya Rulin, Cybill Shepherd, Gene Simmons, Fred Willard and Jordan Orr.
